COMMENTS: Chamaedorea erumpens is similar in most respects to C. seifrizii, except for its wider leaflets. Some Chamaedorea experts consider it merely a variety of that species. Like that species, it can be used effectively as an understory shrub in the tropical garden, a low screening plant in partially shady areas, or as an indoor foliage plant.
