COMMENTS: Miraguama palm is one of the most attractive species in the genus, with a faster than average growth rate. The leaves form neat circles giving the canopy a more formal appearance than most Coccothrinax species. Miraguama palm makes a fine showing in group plantings. Individuals can vary as to the degree of matting on the trunk as well as in trunk thickness and height.
